CHICAGO (AP) -- Quincy Douby scored six of his team high 20 points and Jimmie Inglis scored all seven of his points in overtime as Rutgers defeated DePaul 78-68 on Sunday.

The game was tied 58-58 when Marcus Webb opened the scoring in overtime with a basket for Rutgers (12-4, 2-1 Big East), followed by two free throws by Inglis, giving the Scarlet Knights a 62-58 lead.

After Sammy Mejia made the score 64-62, Douby hit a three-pointer with 3:04 remaining, and DePaul would get no closer than four points thereafter.

Draelon Burns scored eight of his game-high 24 points down the stretch in regulation, including a layup with 1:12 remaining to bring DePaul within 58-57.

Mejia was fouled on a defensive rebound with 16.7 seconds left and tied the game when he made one of two free throws.

In addition to Douby's 20 points, Webb scored 13, while Anthony Farmer and J.R. Inman each added 11.

Mejia had 11 points and 10 rebounds for DePaul (8-7, 1-3) before fouling out late in overtime. Wilson Chandler, who also fouled out in overtime, had 10 points.
