PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Ibrahim Jaaber scored 21 points to lead five
Penn players in double figures as the Quakers continued their
high-scoring streak with a 105-73 victory over Lafayette on Monday
The Quakers connected on 42-of-68 shots (62 percent) and have
amassed 276 points in their last three outings.
Andrew Brown had 16 points, including five 3-pointers, and Bilal
Abdullah had 12 for the Leopards (8-8), who hit on 14-of-29 from
beyond the arc.
Penn trailed 8-2 early but then ran off 15 straight points and
built a 53-34 advantage at halftime, connecting on 22-of-34 shots
(65 percent) and forcing 15 Lafayette turnovers. The lead ballooned
to 89-52 on a jumper by Jaaber with 8:52 remaining in the game.
Penn has now defeated the Leopards five straight times and holds
a 37-3 edge in the all-time series.
