Kent State 77, Western Michigan 62

KENT, Ohio (AP) -- Jay Youngblood's 13 points led five Kent State
players in double figures in the Golden Flashes' 77-62 win over
Western Michigan on Tuesday night.

Kent State (11-5, 5-0 Mid-American Conference) shot 65 percent
in the second half while holding the Broncos to 36 percent to pull
away after Western Michigan (4-11, 1-4) took a 36-34 lead into

DeAndre Haynes added 12 points for the Golden Flashes, and Isaac
Knight, Nate Gerwig and Armon Gates had 11 apiece. Knight scored 10
points in the second half and Gates had nine.

Center Joe Reintz's 18 points and 10 rebounds led the Broncos,
who also got 15 points from Brian Snider.

Kent State sank 11 of 14 free throws, while Western Michigan hit
15 of 22.
