DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Norman Plummer scored 18 points and Dayton
used a 16-4 first-half run to pull away from Duquesne in an 85-63
victory on Saturday night.
The Dukes (2-14, 0-5 Atlantic 10) led 10-5 after the game's
first 3½ minutes before Dayton (9-10, 1-4) took off. Logan White's
two free throws, Jimmy Binnie's 3-pointer and a foul shot by
Desmond Adedeji preceded Charles Little's dunk for a 13-10 lead. By
the time Brian Roberts hit a 3-pointer at the 8:33 mark, the Flyers
were on top 21-14.
Dayton led 41-27 at the half and by as many as 25 points in the
Monty Scott and Roberts each added 11 points and Adedeji had 10
-- hitting all four of his shots from the field.
