Tulane 60, East Carolina 52

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Quincy Davis scored a game-high 20 points
while Andrew Garcia hit six free throws in the final 33 seconds to
lift Tulane to a 60-52 victory over East Carolina Saturday.

Tulane held a 53-47 lead with 39 seconds to go when East
Carolina (6-11, 0-4 Conference USA) had a pair of free throws to
pull within four. Tulane's Matt Wheaton hit the first of two free
throws, but missed his second. But the Green Wave recovered the

East Carolina missed a 3-pointer and Garcia was fouled again,
burying two more foul shots with 23.3 clicks remaining. ECU nailed
a 3-pointer to make it 58-52, but the Wave again found Garcia, who
hit two more free throws.

Davis posted his fourth 20-point game of the year for Tulane
(5-11, 1-3). Chris Moore added 15 points while Garcia's only points
were the six from the line.
