KENT, Ohio (AP) -- Kevin Warzynski scored 19 points lead Kent
State to a 70-52 win over Buffalo on Sunday.
Kent (14-6, 8-1 Mid-American Conference) put the game away
early, going on a 29-10 run in the first half.
Jay Youngblood scored 14 points and Omni Smith added 10 for
Kent, which shot 46.8 percent for the game (29-of-62) and was
coming off its first conference loss of the season, a 79-74 defeat
Thursday against Bowling Green.
Yassin Idbihi led Buffalo (15-5, 5-4) with 16 points. Calvin
Cage added 11. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak.
Buffalo shot 34 percent (17-of-50).
