LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Nate Harris scored 19 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in leading Utah State to a 63-52 victory over Hawaii Monday night.

Jaycee Carroll also scored 13 for the Aggies (15-4, 6-2 Western Athletic Conference) and Chris Huber dropped in 11.

Hawaii (10-8, 4-4) was led by Julian Sensley with 14 and Deonte Tatum with 10.

USU led by as many as 20 early in the second half after two consecutive baskets by Harris. But the Rainbow Warriors brought the score to 47-38 with 10 minutes to play, with five points in the run scored by Sensley and Tatum hitting a strong layup.

USU went more than nine minutes without a field goal during this stretch before a 3-pointer by Carroll stopped the Aggie slide at 50-40 with 7:40 to play. Carroll then hit another 3-pointer and Cass Matheus dropped in a bank shot as the Aggies regained control.

The Rainbow Warriors blocked nine Aggie shots, many coming in the second half during their comeback stretch.

Sensley, Hawaii's leading scorer (17 points per game) only scored two points in the first half.

A technical foul on Hawaii coach Riley Wallace gave USU a 15-point lead with 3:04 left in the half. USU then pushed to a 36-19 halftime edge after two consecutive field goals in the paint by Matheus.

USU shot 6-of-11 from beyond the 3-point line in the first half, three by Huber and a pair from Durrall Peterson. Hawaii shot only 31 percent from the field in the first half and had 11 turnovers.
