HONOLULU (AP) -- Julian Sensley scored 25 points in Hawaii's 83-68 victory over San Jose State on Saturday night.

Ahmet Gueye had 19 points, and Matt Lojeski and Deonte Tatum added 10 apiece for the Rainbow Warriors (12-8, 6-5 WAC).

Alex Elam led San Jose State (5-16, 1-7) with 21 points, Matt Misko had 13 and Demetrius Brown added 12.

Hawaii, last in the WAC in free-throw shooting at 62.5 percent, was 19-for-20 (95 percent) from the line. The Rainbow Warriors also had 11 blocks.

Two 3-pointers from Lojeski and one from Sensley keyed Hawaii's 19-6 run in the first 7 minutes of the second half as the Rainbow Warriors took a 56-43 lead.

San Jose State would get no closer than eight the rest of the way.

Hawaii used an 11-4 spurt to open up a 25-15 lead with 9:37 remaining in the first half.

San Jose State outscored the Rainbow Warriors 17-6 over the final 8:20 of the first, including 11 points from Elam, to tie the game 33-33 at the break.
