Illinois State 58, Drake 56 (OT)

NORMAL, Ill. (AP) -- Roberto Fortes went 6-of-10 from three-point
range and scored a game-high 22 points in leading Illinois State to
a 58-56 overtime victory over Drake on Tuesday night.

In the closely fought game that saw four ties and seven lead
changes, Illinois State (9-15, 4-12 Missouri Valley) held a 29-28
lead at the half.

Drake then (12-15, 5-11) allowed a seven-point lead with 6:17
left slip away. Regulation play ended with the teams tied at 55.

Drake was ineffective in overtime, scoring only one point, while
the Redbirds' three points were enough for the win.

Levi Dyer scored 11 points for Illinois State, while Dana Ford
added 10.

Chris Bryant was the only Drake player to score in double
digits, finishing with 13 points.
