BOSTON (AP) -- Shawn James had his second triple-double in the last four games with 17 points, 14 rebounds and 11 blocks to lead host Northeastern to a 77-55 win over James Madison.

It was the fourth career triple-double for James, who had five blocks in the first four minutes. Jose Juan Barea led Northeastern with a game-high 23 points and six assists.

Northeastern (14-10, 10-6 Colonial Athletic Association) used a 14-2 first-half run to turn a 15-13 deficit into a 27-17 lead it wouldn't relinquish. The Huskies led by as many as 24 points on three different occasions. Northeastern was ahead 48-33 at the half.

James Madison (5-19, 2-14 CAA) got within five in the first minute of the second half, but could get no closer as Northeastern went on a quick 10-2 run and led by double digits for the rest of the game.

Dave Cooper led the Dukes with 20 points, while Ray Barbosa had 14. Janon Cole had 11 points and seven rebounds for Northeastern, while Bennet Davis chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Northeastern started out quickly, scoring the game's first seven points, but James Madison responded with a 9-0 run to take the lead. The Dukes took their final lead of the game at 15-13 on a Barbosa jumper.
