DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Norman Plummer scored 15 points, including
Dayton's final five in the last 57 seconds, to lead the Flyers to a
66-62 win over Xavier on Tuesday night.
Dayton (13-14, 5-8 Atlantic 10) won despite shooting 38 percent
in the first half and 42 percent for the game.
The Musketeers (16-8, 7-6) tied it at 56 on a 3-pointer from
Josh Duncan with 4:26 left.
But Brian Roberts answered with a jumper to give the Flyers the
lead for good. Dayton then held Xavier scoreless for more than 3
Roberts finished with 14 points, and Charles Little added 12 for
the Flyers, who scored 18 points off turnovers.
Duncan finished with 18 points for the Musketeers. Justin
Doellman added 12 points and Stanley Burrell had 11.
