    ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Jamar Wilson scored 33 points and had 10 rebounds to lead Albany to an 87-67 win over Delaware Friday.

    Delaware (0-2) led 20-19 with 8:06 remaining in first half when Herb Courtney scored one of his four 3-point field shots.

    Albany (2-0) then seized control with 10 of the game's next 11 points. Brent Wilson put his team ahead with a 3-pointer from the top of the arc. Wilson later hit a foul-line jumper and one his three 3-point shots. Michael Knight followed a missed free throw for a 30-21 lead with 5:21 left in the period.

    The Great Danes, who made 15-of-27 from the field settled for a 43-32 halftime lead.

    Jason Siggers, who had 17 points, helped his team pull away to start the final period with three consecutive baskets. He made a 12-foot jumper and followed with a slam dunk off a steal for a 50-32 margin.

    The Blue Hens trailed by as much as 21 points with seven minutes remaining. Zaire Taylor converted a 3-point play to cut the deficit to 73-61 with 4:16 left. But the Great Danes held onto their double-figure lead when Brett Gifford hit a turnaround jumper in the lane.

    Brian Johnson added 15 points and five assists for the Blue Hens, who were held to 36.7 percent shooting in the second half on 11-of-30 attempts.
