NEW YORK (AP) -- Freshmen Niko Scott and Patrick Foley sparked a second-half run that helped Columbia rally for a 63-51 victory over Kennesaw State in the championship game of the Tyler Ugolyn Classic on Saturday night.
Kennesaw State (1-2) led 31-27 at the half and extended the lead to 44-35 on Shaun Spegall's three-point play with 12:30 remaining in the game.
The Lions (3-1) then went on a 24-3 run sparked by Foley and Scott. Scott had eight points, including two 3-pointers, and Foley added six during that spurt that saw the Lions take a 59-47 lead with 2:55 left.
Spegall led the Owls with a game-high 27 points
