CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) -- Eric Coleman scored 15 points to help Northern Iowa beat Wisconsin-Milwaukee 69-58 Sunday.
Four Northern Iowa starters scored in double figures, with 44 of the points coming from the paint.
Milwaukee (1-4) scored the game's first basket but trailed the rest of the way after Grant Stout hit a jumper with 17:11 in the first half. He finished with nine points and led the team with eight rebounds.
Northern Iowa (3-1) shot 54.7 percent from the field, building a 19-point lead in the second half and coasting to the win.
Paige Paulsen led Milwaukee with 14 points. His team struggled to stop Northern Iowa's post attack, and shot only 37.5 percent from the field.
The game was Northern Iowa's first in the $26 million McLeod Center.
