FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- Xavier Kilby scored a career-high 12 points and had seven rebounds as Colorado State defeated Boise State 67-50 Monday at Moby Arena.

Tyler Smith added 12 points and six steals for Colorado State (3-2), which earned its 19th straight home win over a non-conference team.

Forward Matt Nelson scored 15 points for Boise State (1-2) and Reggie Larry had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Denver Nuggets coach George Karl, whose son Coby Karl plays for Boise State, attended the game along with Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith.

"I thought it was a hard fought game," CSU head coach Dale Layer said. "I didn't think either team came away saying everything went their way. I thought it was intense and the teams made good plays."

The lead changed six times during the first half of the game but the Rams led 33-29 at the half following a 7-0 run.

CSU committed 22 turnovers and forced 23 by Boise State.
