They took their biggest lead of the night, 79-64, on two free throws by Alex Vander Baan with 39 seconds remaining.Harvard trailed by as many as 14 points, 29-15 with 6:04 on the clock before coming back and closing the gap to 35-29 at halftime. Clifford led both teams in scoring with 16 points.The Crimson opened the second half with a 11-2 run to take a 40-37 lead, their first since the initial basket of the game, on a 3-pointer by Goffredo.Holy Cross went on a 8-2 run with 6:40 left in the game behind a pair of shots behind the arc by Simmons and Torey Thomas, to open a 63-59 lead. But Harvard tied the game on a Housman jump shot a minute later.The Crusaders answered with back-to-back 3-pointers by Pat Doherty and Vander Baan to take a 71-63 lead with 2:30 remaining.
