Chicago State 86, Wright State 70

CHICAGO (AP) -- Royce Parran led four Chicago State players in double digits with 20 points Wednesday night as the Cougars beat Wright State 86-70.

Parran also had five rebounds and nine assists.

Michael Henderson had 19 points, Kevin Jones Jr. scored 18 and Cam-Ron Clay added 13 for the Cougars (2-3), who outscored their opponents 55-37 in the second half.

Wright State (1-2) led 33-31 at halftime on 13-of-24 shooting from the field but struggled from behind the arc after the break, making only of one of 10 three-point attempts.

Chicago State also benefited from good free-throw shooting. The Cougars made 26 of 30 free-throw attempts, while Wright State was 9-of-15 from the charity line.

Scottie Wilson had 15 points for the Raiders, while DaShaun Wood had 12.
