JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Paul Graham scored 17 points to lead a depleted Florida Atlantic team to a 59-44 win over host North Florida on Wednesday.
Graham tallied 11 of his points in the second half. He started and ended a 19-4 run for Florida Atlantic after North Florida (1-4) had cut a 10-point halftime deficit to one point with 13 minutes left in the game. The sophomore guard connected on 8-of-18 shots and pulled in a game-high 8 rebounds.
The Owls had only seven eligible players for the game.
Florida Atlantic's two reserves combined for 19 points, including 16 by Carlos Monroe as the Owls held a 19-13 advantage in bench points.
The Ospreys scored nine consecutive points early in the second half to come within one point at 33-32 before Florida Atlantic pulled away. The Owls led by at least 14 points the rest of the game.
Rashad Williams led North Florida with 12 points.
