Cal St.-Fullerton 91, Louisiana-Lafayette 89, OT

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) -- Bobby Brown hit a running layup in traffic with four seconds remaining to give Cal State Fullerton a 91-89 overtime win against Louisiana-Lafayette on Friday.

The Titans (4-0) outrebounded the Ragin' Cajuns 54-38 and held a 25-9 edge in second-chance points while scoring 48 points in the paint.

Scott Cutley paced CSF with 31 points and Brown finished the night with eight. The Titans' leading rebounder was Justin Burns with 15.

David Dees and Ross Mouton combined for 64 points in the loss. The pair helped the Cajuns (1-3) rally from an 18-point first-half deficit and send the game into overtime.

Dees hit a jumper with nine seconds left in overtime that pulled Louisiana-Lafayette into an 89-89 tie but Brown's score with four seconds left ended the game.

Dees scored a career-high and season-high 37 points on 12-of-24 shooting while Mouton added 27 points and was a perfect 11-of-11 from the free throw line.

Cal State Fullerton went into the half with a 45-40 lead.
