NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Kevin Sims scored 21 points, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range, to help Tulane coast to an 80-63 victory Wednesday over Buffalo.

David Gomez added 11 for the Green Wave, whose bench scored 29 points compared to 10 for Buffalo (6-3). Three Tulane players had nine points, including Donnie Stith who also grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

Tulane (5-3) took a 44-34 lead into the half.

Yassin Idbihi led Buffalo with 19 points, while Andy Robinson added 18.
