FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) -- Bobby Brown scored a school-record 47 points as Cal State Fullerton beat Bethune-Cookman 94-65 Saturday night.
Brown shot 17-for-20 from the field and went 11-for-13 from behind the 3-point line as he matched the scoring total of the rest of his teammates combined.
The senior point guard broke the 46-year-old school record of 45 points, set by Jon Brettman in 1960. Brown's 11 3-pointers were also a school record.
The Titans have won three of four.
Aaron Nelson led Bethune-Cookman with 16 points.
The Wildcats (2-6) have lost five in a row. They were coming off their worst defeat of the season, a 52-point loss to Southern California on Thursday night.
