San Luis Obispo, Calif. (AP) -- Cal Poly held Northern Arizona to 15 first-half points and never trailed in an 82-60 victory Tuesday night.
Titus Shelton led Cal Poly's defensive stand with four blocked shots and seven rebounds in the first half alone.
Northern Arizona surpassed its first-half point total in the first 5:20 of the second half but never cut the lead to single digits.
The Mustangs (5-4) shot 50 percent for the game (30-for-60) to 42.3 percent (22-of-52) by Northern Arizona.
Nathan Geiser led Northern Arizona (5-6) with 15 points.
