CLEVELAND (AP) -- Kourtney Calvin scored 14 points and hit an overtime jumper that put Chicago State ahead for good as the Cougars rallied to a 82-77 win over Cleveland State Tuesday night.
Chicago State (5-9) trailed by 11 points with 5:47 remaining in regulation, but the Cougars scored 14 straight points starting with
Aaron Williams' 3-pointer just seconds later to take a 68-65 lead.
Joe Davis scored a layup and
J'Nathan Bullock hit two foul shots to pull Cleveland State (5-8) ahead, but a Williams free throw with 1:02 remaining tied the score at 69.
Calvin's jumper with 4:40 left in overtime gave Chicago State a 71-69 lead, and the Cougars never trailed again.
Williams led Chicago State with 22 points on 8-of-19 shooting.
David Holston had 11 points and seven rebounds,
Royce Parran added 12 points and
Chidozie Chukwumah had 10 points. Calvin had 10 rebounds.
Raheem Moss scored 28 points and had 10 rebounds for the Vikings, and Davis added 12 points.
Patrick Tatham had 11 points and eight rebounds, and Bullock had 12 rebounds and eight points.
The Vikings outrebounded Chicago State 48-42 and led 37-31 at the half.
