GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Kyle Hines scored a game-high 27 points and freshman Ben Stywall earned his first double-double to lead UNC Greensboro to a 74-64 win over Delaware on Saturday.

The Spartans (5-6) never trailed, leading 37-24 at the half and pushing the gap to as much as 23 points. The Blue Hens (0-9) narrowed it late in the game with an 11-0 run that narrowed it to 65-54 with 2:36 remaining, but UNC Greensboro held on for its third straight win.

Stywall finished with a career-high 23 points and 15 rebounds. Hines scored 10 of his points in the first 11 minutes of the game and finished in double figures for the 32nd straight game, extending his school-record streak.

Herb Courtney scored 21 points, Zaire Taylor earned 13 points -- including three 3-pointers -- and Calvin Cannon chipped in 12 for Delaware, which is off to its worst start since 1929-30. The Blue Hens join Iona as the only winless Division I teams this season.
