Bradley (9-4, 0-1) never led, but came within four points with about six minutes left in the game on a 3-pointer from Will Franklin.
Stout scored seven of the Panthers' last nine points in the final minute to secure the win.
Bradley shot 36.5 percent from the floor and was dominated inside by Stout and Coleman, who had 15 and 14 rebounds, respectively. In all, Bradley was outrebounded 45-28 and was outscored in the paint 32-12.
Northern Iowa led 42-28 at halftime.
