Akron 92, Loyola Marymount 52

AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Quade Milum and Nate Linhart each scored 12 points to lead Akron to a 92-52 win over Loyola Marymount on Friday night.

Leading 42-20 at halftime, Nick Dials scored all of his nine points during a 30-12 second-half run to give Akron a 72-32 lead with 8:12 left.

Romeo Travis scored 11 points and Cedrick Middleton added 10 for the Zips (8-3).

Adoyah Miller and Corey Counts each scored eight points for Loyola Marymount (8-7). The Lions have lost five of their last seven games.

Akron shot 58 percent from the field, while the Lions shot just 36 percent.
