POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) -- Marcus Pillow scored 18 points to lead Central Arkansas in a 50-48 win over Bucknell in the first game of the Pepsi-Marist Classic Friday.

Pillow scored a three-pointer with 20 seconds left to give the Bears (5-7) the upset.

The Bears led 25-18 at the half, but Bucknell scored nine straight points in the second half to take over.

Central Arkansas answered with seven straight points, highlighted by a Pillow 3-pointer, to go up 41-35.

Mitch Rueter added 12 points for Central Arkansas.

Jason Vegotsky had 10 points to lead Bucknell (5-7). He almost saved the game when his go-ahead 4-point play put the Bisons ahead by a point with 46 seconds left, but Pillow responded with four 3-pointers in the final 6:31 of the game.

Donald Brown contributed 9 for Bucknell.

Central Arkansas will face Marist in the title game on Saturday.
