BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- Michael Haddix scored 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead Siena in a 78-60 win over Canisius Wednesday night.
Leading 34-32 early in the second half, Siena (7-5, 3-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) took command of the game with an 11-0 run.Ronald Moore and David Ryan capped the run with back-to-back 3-pointers, Ryan's bringing the lead to 45-32.The Saints held onto the double digit lead the rest of the way, shooting 56.3 percent from the field in the second half.Playing without leading scorer Chuck Harris, Canisius (5-8, 0-3 MAAC) shot just 36.8 percent from the field.Harris, a senior who has started every game since his freshman year, will be sidelined for at least a week with a knee injury.Kenny Hasbrouck scored 15 points for Siena. Alex Franklin added 10.Pawel Malesa led the Golden Griffins with 20 points.
