Campbell had 14 points and 6 assists and John Vaughan finished with 10 points.Vaughn scored four points in the final minute of the first half to help the Patriots close with a 7-0 run and take a 33-31 lead. The Tribe stayed close by hitting 6 of 11 3-pointers in the first half while holding the Patriots to just 1-for-12 beyond the arc. George Mason shot just 26 percent (6 of 23) on its 3-pointers for the game.It was William & Mary's first win at George Mason since the 1997-98 season and the Patriots' first conference loss at home since Jan. 19, 2005, when they fell to Drexel 66-59.
