DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -Daniel Ruffin led five players in double figures with a team high 18 points as Bradley squeaked out an 89-86 win over Drake on Friday night in Missouri Valley play.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Daniel Ruffin led five players in double
figures with a 18 points to lead Bradley to an 89-86 win over Drake
Saturday night.

The Braves (11-6, 2-3 MVC) survived 17 lead changes and 12 ties
to hand the Bulldogs (9-6, 0-4) their fourth straight loss after a
9-2 start.

With Drake forced to foul at the end, Bradley converted 12 of 16
free throws with Ruffin making 5 of 6 to seal the win.

Chris Bryant's desperation 3-pointer at the end didn't come
close before Drake's second-largest crowd of the season -- 6,529.

Josh Young and Ajay Calvin each scored 19 points for the
Bulldogs. Young connected on 4 of 5 from 3-point range and 5 of 6
from the free-throw line.

Matt Salley and Will Franklin each had 17 points followed by
Zach Andrews with 12 points, and Andrew Warren made all four of his
field goals including three 3s to finish with 11 for Bradley. Nick
Grant had 18 points and Al Stewart 10 for the Bulldogs.

The first half saw six ties and 10 lead changes as Drake took a
40-39 halftime lead.

Klayton Korver sparked a 9-4 run to end the first half for Drake
with a 3-pointer deep from the right baseline.

Bradley made a season-best 63 percent from the field in the
second half and finished making 59 percent of its shots.

Drake connected on 52 percent of its field goals and held a
30-28 rebounding edge.
