CHICAGO (AP) -- J. R. Blount scored 20 points and Andy Polka added 12 points and 10 rebounds Saturday to lead Loyola of Chicago to an 87-74 win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
The Ramblers (11-5, 3-1) shot 65.3 percent from the field for the game. Blount was 7-for-11, as was teammate Blake Schilb, who scored 17 points.
The Panthers trailed by one after a layup by Kevin Massiah with 8:48 remaining, but Loyola's Leon Young then made a layup of his own that triggered a 15-3 Ramblers run over the next six minutes. Two free throws from Young made it 80-67 with 2:47 left.
Young finished with 17 points and nine rebounds, while going 7-for-7 from the foul line.
