CORAOPOLIS, Pa. (AP) -- Jeremy Chappell scored 16 points and four Robert Morris players scored in double figures in a 64-48 victory over Central Connecticut State on Saturday night.
A.J. Jackson finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds, Tony Lee added 12 points and Derek Coleman 10 for the Colonials (10-3, 2-2 Northeast Conference), who won their fifth straight game and improved to 7-0 at home.
Obie Nwadike had 12 points and five rebounds to lead the Blue Devils (5-10, 2-1), who made six field goals in the second half and failed to score from the field in the last 8:13.
Central Connecticut State had won two in a row after snapping a four-game losing streak.
Robert Morris led by five points at the break and opened the second half with a 17-7 run. The Colonials held a 39-19 advantage in rebounds and limited Central Connecticut State to 36 percent shooting from the field, including 30 percent in the second half.
Lee added seven rebounds, three assists and four steals for the Colonials.
The Blue Devils shot 3-for-18 from 3-point range.
