PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Will Franklin scored 18 points to lead Bradley to a 48-46 victory over Southern Illinois in Missouri Valley Conference action Wednesday.
Southern Illinois (12-4, 3-2) controlled the game early in the first half, jumping out to a 10-point lead at 10:50. However, the Braves battled back and narrowed the Saluki's lead to 21-19 at the half.
In a game that saw the lead change seven times, Bradley (12-6, 3-3) won the battle inside the paint by six points.
The Salukis committed 20 turnovers against Bradley's trapping zone, but the Braves were able to score only nine points as a result.
Jamaal Tatum missed a 3-point shot for the Salukis with 25 seconds remaining to set up the winning possession for the Braves. Franklin banked home the winning shot with 0.5 seconds left.
Zach Andrews finished the game with 12 points for Bradley.
