GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Thomas Sanders scored 24 points and had nine rebounds to lead Davidson to a 71-63 win over Furman on Wednesday night.
The Wildcats (14-3, 5-0 Southern Conference) trailed by one at the break, but Stephen Curry's short bank shot started a 15-4 run that gave Davidson its biggest lead of the game at 51-41 with just under 13 minutes to go.
The Paladins (7-8, 1-3) trailed 65-59 with 1:44 left, but the Wildcats hit six of their eight free throws down the stretch to win their 10th straight game. They have beaten Furman in 18 of their last 19 meetings.
Davidson had 39 rebounds, compared to 24 rebounds for the Paladins.
Jason Richards scored 18 points and Curry added 15 for the Wildcats.
