WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) -- Todd Hendley scored a career-high 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead UNC Wilmington to an 80-66 win over James Madison on Wednesday.

The Seahawks snapped a six-game losing streak, and new coach Benny Moss earned his first Colonial Athletic Association since taking over at UNC Wilmington (4-10, 1-4).

James Madison guard Joe Posey hit three consecutive 3-pointers in the first half to give the Dukes (4-11, 1-4) an 8-point lead. But the Seahawks responded with a 17-2 run and were ahead 38-29 at the break.

UNC Wilmington shot 53.8 percent from the floor. Posey led James Madison with 12 points.
