YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) -- Mike Schachtner scored 20 points to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 59-49 win over Youngstown State on Thursday night.
Schachtner was 8-of-13 shooting and was the only scorer for the Phoenix (10-7, 2-2 Horizon League) to reach double digits. Terry Evans and Josh Lawrence each added nine points, and Evans had eight rebounds.
Quin Humphrey led the Penguins (7-10, 2-3) with 17 points and had nine rebounds, but missed all six of his 3-point attempts. Byron Davis had 12 points, Keston Roberts added 10 and Jack Liles had 14 rebounds.
The Phoenix took a 36-23 lead at halftime on 45.5 percent shooting (15-of-33), while the Penguins shot 33 percent (9-of-27) in the first half. Overall, Wisconsin-Green Bay outrebounded Youngstown State 40-39.
