Towson 75, UNC Wilmington 61

TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Dennard Abraham's 20 points helped Towson to a 75-61 win against UNC Wilmington on Saturday, snapping the Tiger's four-game losing streak to the Seahawks.

Gary Neal added 19 points, Sean Raboin scored 11 and Tommy Breaux had 10 for the Tigers (9-10, 3-5 Colonial Athletic Association). Towson had lost five of the last seven games.

UNC Wilmington got 13 points from Todd Hendley and 12 points and 10 rebounds from Vladimir Kuljanin. The Seahawks (4-13, 1-7) have lost three straight and fell to 0-9 on the road.

On consecutive plays midway through the second half, Neal -- who was 8-of-14 from the floor -- fed Breaux for an alley-oop slam and delivered a bounce pass that Breaux finished off with a 2-on-1 jam to take the lead 57-39. Neal was held below his 25.6 points-per-game average, which is the fifth best among Division I players.

Abraham scored 15 first-half points, picking up the slack with Breaux and Winstonn Tubbs on the bench in foul trouble. Those points helped put the Tigers up 35-29 at halftime.

Towson used a 6-0 run to go ahead 29-20 with 5:30 left in the opening half. Abraham sandwiched a 10-foot jumper and a basket off a Neal miss.
