GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Guard Robby Bostain scored a game-high 23 points, and Jadee Jones added 15 in a reserve role as Furman topped Western Carolina 79-67 in a Southern Conference game Saturday.

Thirteen of Bostain's points came at the foul line, where the Paladins (9-9, 3-4 SoCon) made 35-of-38 as a team. Furman's last 12 points were free throws over the final 4:12.

Forward Nick Aldridge had 18 points and a game-high 10 rebounds for the Catamounts (7-11, 4-3).

Jake Robinson came off the bench to add 14, including four 3-point baskets.

Jones scored seven during a string of 15 straight that gave Furman a 20-6 lead midway through the first half. They stretched their margin to 18, before settling for a 41-29 halftime led.

The Catamounts moved within four at 61-57 on a free throw by Arnold Gore at the 6:12 mark. But Furman went on a 13-4 run to take control 74-61 on two free throws by Tony Anderson with 1:23 remaining.
