Siena 80, Manhattan 69

NEW YORK (AP) -- Kenny Hasbrouck scored 22 points and Edwin Ubiles had 17 as Siena started strong and beat Manhattan 80-69 on Sunday.

Siena (10-8, 6-3 Metro Atlantic) raced to an early 18-point lead and led 36-25 at the half.

David Ryan added 15 points and 13 rebounds and Ronald Moore and Michael Haddix scored 10 points each for Siena.

Arturo Dubois had 17 points and 13 rebounds and Devon Austin added 16 points for Manhattan (9-9, 6-2).

Siena, which led 24-6 midway through the first half, shot 52.7 percent from the field, while Manhattan shot 39.7 percent.

Ubiles' 3-point play provided Siena with its largest lead of the second half at 45-28 with 16:52 remaining.

The Jaspers narrowed the deficit to eight points on several occasions, including when Darryl Crawford scored to make it 64-56 with 4:59 left.
