BOSTON (AP) -- Brian Lillis scored in the final two minutes to give Albany a 52-50 victory over Boston University on Wednesday night.
The Terriers (7-12, 4-3 America East) had a 50-44 lead with 5:01 left after a 17-point second-half explosion by Tyler Morris but couldn't score again as Albany (13-17, 6-2 AE) got the game's last seven points.
Jamar Wilson made 1-of-2 free throws with 44:44 remaining and then scored a basket to cut the lead to three. A jumper by Jason Siggers made it 50-49 with 2:27 left and Lillis then scored from the lane. BU's Brian Macon missed a last-second 3-point shot.
Jamar Wilson, the defending America East player of the year, was averaging 18.3 points per game coming in, but was just 5-for-13 from the field and had 11 points and seven rebounds.
Brent Wilson led Albany with 13 points and Siggers had 10 and five assists.
Morris finished with 21 points for BU, playing its second straight game without leading scorer Corey Lowe, out with a foot injury.
