BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) -- Carlos Monroe scored 18 points to lead Florida Atlantic to a 75-72 win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Wednesday.
Florida Atlantic (9-11, 5-5 Sun Belt Conference) ended the first half with the 10-point lead 38-28.
Four different Florida Atlantic players scored at least five points in the first half.
Louisiana-Lafayette (5-16, 3-8) closed the gap in the second half to one point but never got ahead.
Florida Atlantic's DeAndre Rice scored 17 points and Paul Graham scored 10.
Graham returned to the starting lineup Wednesday after missing almost two games because of a back injury.
