NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Courtney Pigram led a balanced scoring attack with 18 points and East Tennessee State beat Belmont 80-70 in overtime Thursday night to maintain first place in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

East Tennessee (15-7, 9-1) won its seventh straight game even though the Bucs blew a 38-23 halftime lead.

Eryk Thomas and Brad Nuckles added 16 points each for the Buccaneers and Andrew Reed had 10. Thomas had 19 rebounds and Nuckles 12.

Thomas had five points in overtime and Dequan Twilley four, all on free throws in the last 45 seconds

In regulation, Pigram's 3-pointer with 19 seconds left put the Bucs ahead 65-64, but Boomer Herndon made a free throw for Belmont with 9 seconds remaining to tie it at 65. He missed a second free throw that would have pushed the Bruins ahead.

Belmont (13-8, 7-3) was held to 5 points in overtime, all on free throws, missing all four field goal attempts.

Justin Hare led the Bruins with 20 points, reserve Andrew Preston had 14 and Herndon scored 13 on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor.

East Tennessee controlled the boards 46-35.
