Cal State Fullerton 75, UC Irvine 60

FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) -- Scott Cutley and Frank Robinson scored 18 points apiece to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 75-60 victory over UC Irvine on Saturday night.

Justin Burns added 12 points for the Titans (16-4, 6-2 Big West), who have won six of their last seven and extended their home winning streak to 15 games through two seasons.

Darren Fells, Nic Campbell and Chuma Awaji each scored 10 points for the Anteaters (10-12, 4-4 Big West). Patrick Sanders added a career-high 12 rebounds.

With the score tied at 31, Robinson had six points during an 8-4 run that gave Fullerton a 39-35 halftime lead. Irvine falied to score a basket for 2:40 of the first half's final 3:14.

The Anteaters narrowed the deficit to 45-42 with 16:03 to play when the Titans made four consecutive 3-point shots during a 17-6 surge that gave them a 62-48 lead with 12:39 left. Robinson scored eight points and Cutley had six points.

Fullerton led by as many as 17 points.
