NEWARK, Del. (AP) -- Brian Johnson scored a game-high 25 points, Herb Courtney contributed 22 points, and Delaware defeated Hofstra 72-68 Monday night.
The Blue Hens (4-18, 2-9 CAA) rallied from a seven-point deficit at halftime, and got a three pointer from
Sam McMahon and two free throws from
Darrell Johnson in the last 11 seconds to win.
Johnson landed five of Delaware's 12 three-pointers and had four assists as Delaware ended a four-game losing streak.
Chris Gadley grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds.
Loren Stokes led the Pride (16-6, 9-2 CAA) with 21 points while
Antoine Agudio added 19 points and
Zygis Sestokas contributed 11 points. Chris Gadley had a game-high 11 rebounds.
