JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Trey Johnson's 3-pointer with 1.6 seconds left lifted Jackson State to a 59-56 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Monday night.
Johnson, the nation's leading scorer, scored 21 points for Jackson State (13-9, 7-2 Southwestern Athletic Conference), which got its second straight win.
Marrcelle Goins tied the score at 56 on a 3-pointer with 24 seconds left before Johnson's dagger.
After the Golden Lions cut a 48-39 deficit to one point with two minutes left, Johnson hit another key shot to give the Tigers a 56-53 lead.
