William & Mary 65, James Madison 62

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) -- Nathan Mann scored 21 points, including four 3-pointers in the second half that kept James Madison from drawing too close, as William and Mary beat the Dukes 65-62 on Wednesday night.

The Tribe (12-10, 5-7 Colonial Athletic Association) never trailed and didn't let James Madison (6-16, 3-9) get closer than six until the final minute.

Mann's 3-pointer with 14:33 remaining put William and Mary ahead 44-32. Several minutes later, the Dukes had drawn within seven, but Mann hit another 3-pointer to break their rally.

He did the same with 2:40 left to give the Tribe a nine point lead.

Adam Payton added 16 points for the Tribe and Laimis Kisielius had 13.

Juwann James scored 13, Terrance Carter had 12 and Kyle Swanston 11 for James Madison.
