WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) -- Nathan Mann scored 21 points, including four 3-pointers in the second half that kept James Madison from drawing too close, as William and Mary beat the Dukes 65-62 on Wednesday night.
The Tribe (12-10, 5-7 Colonial Athletic Association) never trailed and didn't let James Madison (6-16, 3-9) get closer than six until the final minute.
Mann's 3-pointer with 14:33 remaining put William and Mary ahead 44-32. Several minutes later, the Dukes had drawn within seven, but Mann hit another 3-pointer to break their rally.
He did the same with 2:40 left to give the Tribe a nine point lead.
