ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- John Griffin scored 15 points as Bucknell rallied on the road to beat Navy Friday night, 78-63.
Chris McNaughton added 13 points and 12 rebounds for his second double-double of the season as the Bison (14-8, 8-1) won for the 14th time in 18 games since a 0-4 start.
The Bison are 33-4 in Patriot League play over the last three seasons. Navy (11-12, 1-7) lost for the ninth time in 11 games after a 9-3 start and fell below .500 for the first time this season. The loss extended the Mids' season-long losing streak to five games.
The Mids led 24-16 midway through the first half, but Bucknell outscored them 23-13 to close the first half and 18-6 to open the second half to put the game away.
Griffin had eight points and McNaughton four during the Bison's decisive run to open the second half.
Greg Sprink led Navy with 18 points and became the 17th player in school history to score 1,000 career points, and just the fifth to do so in his junior year. His four three-pointers also moved him into a tie for second place all-time in 3-pointers. Chris Harris added 12 points -- all on 3-pointers in the second half.
