Columbia 61, Dartmouth 55

HANOVER, N.H. (AP) -- John Bauman scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds on Saturday as Columbia beat Dartmouth 61-55.

Ben Nwachukwu added eight points and eight rebounds for Columbia (12-8, 3-3 Ivy League), which opened the weekend with a victory at Harvard.

Columbia shot just 23 percent in the first half but still took a 24-20 halftime lead thanks to 11-for-13 foul shooting.

The Lions warmed up in the second half, hitting 52.6 percent from the field and 5-for-8 from outside the arc. Columbia finished 23-for-27 from the foul line.

Leon Pattman had 19 points and four assists for Dartmouth (7-12, 2-4), which lost its third consecutive game. Alex Barnett added 15 points and four blocks for the Big Green.
