MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- Ernest Little scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead South Alabama to a 61-38 victory over Middle Tennessee Saturday night.
The Jaguars (17-7, 11-2 Sun Belt Conference) were behind 28-27 by the end of the first half, but dominated the Blue Raiders in the second half, scoring 34 points.
South Alabama's largest lead was by 23 points late in the second half. The score was tied three times while the lead changed 11 times.
Middle Tennessee (12-12, 7-6) led by as much as five points in the first half at 4:57 but couldn't maintain it, with South Alabama scoring 19 points off turnovers and 14 points in the paint.
