CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Nick Aldridge had 25 points and eight rebounds to lead Western Carolina to a 78-68 win against The Citadel in Southern Conference action Saturday.
The Citadel opened up with a 22-11 lead, but the Catamounts went on a 10-2 run to cut the lead to three at 24-21. Western Carolina tied the game at 27 on a 3-pointer by Robinson with 5:04 left in the half.
The Catamounts hit two quick 3s after the break to increase its 34-30 halftime lead to 10.
The Citadel went back on top midway through the second half and led 52-50 when Western Carolina went on an 11-2 run for the final lead change of the game.
